These groups are between 2 and 3 years old, they develop physical, social and emotional skills through activities and interaction with adults and children of their own age.

We have one member of staff to every four children which allows us to address the individual needs of each child.

Their day is carefully structured to give them a wide range of experiences during which they are encouraged to express themselves freely.

Their day would include, playing with a wide range of toys, physical play, inside or outside, in the garden or playground. Painting, play with sand and water, constructive activities, puzzles, story time or looking through books.

We encourage children to use and develop their imagination through role playing by dressing up, time in the home corner, singing and music.
